Shakespeare’s great tragedy of star-crossed lovers is set in 1964 and given a Mods and Rockers interpretation by the senior members of Croft Drama award winning Carshalton based group of seven to 18 year olds in their 24th annual fund-raising show at The Cryer.
Younger students will perform a comedy about the difficulties of casting a production of Romeo and Juliet, and also a devised physical theatre piece called The Wall, which explores the causes and consequences of war.
Their target is to raise £1,700 to continue sponsoring Seth – a Camargue horse at the local Diamond Centre for Disabled Riders.
