Asda Stonecot officially opened its doors recently to 200 eager customers, who queued to enter the store at its Stonecot Hill location.

The opening was officiated by the Mayor of Sutton, Councillor Muhammad Sadiq and Stonecot local and Mum in a Million winner, Eve Cole, who cut the ribbon at the 7,500 sq ft store alongside its manager, Andrew Marsh and his colleagues.

Customers attending the launch event were treated to free samples and prize giveaways, before making their way inside to see the extensive offering provided by Asda Stonecot. These include a bakery, hot pizza counter and a rotisserie, not to mention the Meals for Tonight selection for those nights when you just don’t have the time to start from scratch. There is also a click and collect service to make picking up the big shop super simple.
