The owner of a Carshalton bakery needs help from residents to try and track down a teenage girl with a “heart of gold”.

“I wondered if you could help with my appeal to find a girl who has a heart of gold! I run Park Lane Bakery, we were at the Frost fair on Saturday when a girl of about 12/13 asked to buy one of our ‘baby it’s cold outside’ mulled wine mugs for her mum, I explained we give £1 to the homeless charity for every one sold, she said she couldn’t afford the mug but gave me £1 for the charity!

“I want to find this girl to give her the mug, I can’t believe I didn’t do it on Saturday but I was so taken aback by her kindness! The post has been shared hundreds of times across local fb pages but still no word of her, is be really grateful if you could help me out, it would make my Christmas to find her!
