Parents and families from the local community in Cheam were invited to join staff at the official opening of the latest Busy Bees nursery at Cheam Park, on Saturday 3 March.
The nursery, located on the park in the heart of the community, is part of the leading provider of childcare in the UK. It will be officially opened by Mayor of the London Borough of Sutton, Councillor Jean Crossby.
At the opening event, parents and children will be able to take part in learn through play activities using the state of the art toys and resources. Visitors will also get the chance to taste some of the nutritious food prepared by the nursery chef. With Mother’s Day just round the corner, nursery staff will be helping the children make gifts and cards to give to their mums.
Jo Gregoire, Nursery Manager said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming parents and the community into our fantastic new nursery. We have already been enrolling children in the area over the past month and we’ve had a brilliant response to our team and the facilities
“We provide care for children ages from 0-5 years, with special areas in our nursery for rest time, play, creative activities and meals. We have a spacious outdoor area and being on the park itself, the scenery and environment could not be better for providing children space to explore, learn and grow.
“Our team has lots of experience in childcare and we’re really excited to help give children in the local area the best start in life.”
