​Carshalton Athletic has won two further planning appeals and achieved a full award of costs.

The Planning Inspectorate has allowed two further appeals concerning extended use of the Club 3G pitch and floodlights. The Club was also awarded full costs as a result of the “unreasonable” decisions made by Councillors at the LBS planning committee.

1. The club now have permanent permission to use the pitch until 10.00pm Monday to Saturday and until 8pm on Sunday.

2. All restrictions on floodlight use have been removed.

In a statement on the club’s website it says:

“This is a victory for common sense and the many local people who will now be able to use the facility” said Paul Dipre, Club chairman.

Carshalton Athletic has now been successful in all four appeals against planning committee decisions, and compensated for all costs from all four appeals, running into many tens of thousand of pounds.
