What are the issues in your community that are important to you? What changes would you like to see in Sutton, to make it a better place to live, work and play?
Our MPs play an important role in improving later life locally. But how will they know what’s important to local people, if we don’t tell them?
Hosted by One Voice for Age , Tea with your MP is a chance to join up with other residents of your community to tell your local MP about the issues that matter to you the most.
Dates and times:
Tea with your MP – Tom Brake 11 November, 13:30 – 15:30 Holy Trinity Church, Wallington
Tea with your MP – Paul Scully 21 November, 11:00 – 13:00 Meeting room 1, Sutton Civic Centre
Tea with your MP provides a forum for Sutton’s older residents to raise concerns and issues and to express their views and opinions on a range of issues of local and national importance. Equally importantly, the event connects the borough’s older residents to their constituency MPs, ensuring that their voices are heard by those in authority. Older residents are able to put their questions directly to the local MPs of Sutton & Cheam and Carshalton & Wallington and ensure their concerns are recognised and their voices are heard.
