A resident who repeatedly breached Planning Enforcement Notices and a Housing Act Notice has been slammed with over £40,000 of fines at Croydon Magistrates Court.

Adrian Francis Lasrado was found to be in non-compliance of Enforcement Notices relating to two properties in Wallington and Hackbridge on Tuesday 14 February.

Mr Lasrado was fined £15,000 for enforcement breaches on each property, £5,000 for failing to comply with a Prohibition Order, prosecution costs of £5,560 and an additional £150 victim surcharge.

Sentencing Mr Lasrado, District Judge Rana said, “You have deliberately failed to comply with the terms of these Notices and have committed these offences over a long of time for your own financial gain. You have failed to co-operate with the Council and have also have mislead the Court in relation to your finances.”
