Sutton Council is looking for dynamic artists, performers, poets, musicians, writers etc. to be part of the Cultural Programming for Sutton Libraries, Heritage and Arts from March 2018.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in providing art and culture for the residents of Sutton. The Cultural Programme will be delivered across eight libraries, a multi-purpose community space (with capacity for eighty) and a new purpose-built art gallery.

“We are looking for individuals or groups who can deliver exciting and stimulating events, activities, performances, workshops and exhibitions, that people of all backgrounds will be keen to take part in. In particular we welcome applications which are aimed at children, young people, the elderly and diverse populations. We also have vacancies for a writer and an artist in residence. Pay rates are negotiable,” said Sophia Harvey, Development Manager Libraries, Heritage and Arts with Sutton Council

Artists seeking exhibition space in the new art gallery should also apply as special opening rates are available.
