Sutton Grammar success at latest Chemistry Olympiad

Science students from Sutton Grammar have had great success at the recent Chemistry Olympiad organised by the Royal Society of Chemistry.

This UK competition is an opportunity to stretch and challenge post-16 Chemistry students by testing their chemical knowledge. The competition is supported by INEOS, the world’s third largest producer of chemicals.

The competition is designed to stretch the most able young chemists in the country. Although aimed predominantly at A/A* grade Year 13 students, anyone aged 16 and over may enter. This year, over half of the student entries were from Year 12 students. Congratulations to all boys who took part! Three top performing students achieved Gold!
