SV TV

SV TV launched in May 2015 to celebrate the good things happening in Sutton. A positive, informative and relevant Internet TV channel that delivers good news. If the story is positive, interesting and relevant; we’ll report it!

We only focus on good news stories and the great events happening in our borough and the channel is aimed at the residents and business of Sutton. We have a borough full of hidden treasures and we will try to show them off as we record from different locations every month. SV TV is an extension of the work being carried out by Sutton Voice.

Sutton was to be the first council in London to partner with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) on a project which will help to commemorate the borough’s war dead who lost their lives in World War One. It has launched Sutton’s Living Memory project and is now looking for residents, organisation and companies to get involved in ensuring its success. If you would like to be involved in the Sutton’s Living Memory project please register your interest by emailing [email protected] Building on the work that the borough’s World War One forum has already started the group will integrate with the CWGC’s national project. It will use the resources of the internationally-renowned organisation to increase impact as it seeks to ensure that all of the heroes that were killed in the First World War and who are buried in the borough have their resting places honoured and their stories remembered and retold.
