Tom Brake MP is encouraging residents to have their say by taking part in a consultation about a major scheme to improve public spaces, cycling and walking along Beddington Lane and in Beddington village.

The Beddington scheme aims to improve transport in the area with funding of over £7M from Transport for London and the London Borough of Sutton. The plans will add bike lanes, extra room for pedestrians, more crosswalks and benches, as well as trees and bus shelters. The scheme will improve transport links in the area and make it easier and safer for residents to cycle from Beddington Tramlink station to places like Beddington Park, Beddington Village and Hackbridge.

The survey only takes around 10 minutes to complete and closes on 16 July.
