Top pianist to take part in celebrity masterclass

masterclassThe Sutton Music Festival supported by Arts Network Sutton and the H R taylor Charitable Trust are staging a celebrity masterclass funded by the Neil Hayes Bequest to be given by Danny Driver on Sunday March 5th 2017 at 2.30 pm Sandison Room, Trinity School, Shirley Park, Croydon CR9 7AT

Come and listen to pianists selected from the 2016 festival working with one of Britain’s most respected and versatile pianists.

Danny Driver has given performances worldwide both as a soloist in recital and concerto, and also as a chamber musician, which have generated international critical acclaim. He has appeared twice at the BBC Proms, and earlier this month gave a debut recital for the London Southbank International Piano Series. In addition to live broadcasts for BBC Radio 2 and 3, his highly praised recordings have been successfully nominated for several Gramophone awards. In September 2016, he was appointed Professor of Piano at the Royal College of Music, London.
