Two great talks on Beddington Park at Honeywood Museum

2017_Beddington_Park_TalksIllustrated talks by local historian John Phillips are to take place at Honeywood Museum in February.

The 2015 excavation of Beddington Park will take place on Wednesday February 8 at 7.30pm. The talk will explain how a broken wine bottle changed the history of the park and the Carew estate.

The second talk will be about Beddington Park “Tudor Park to Public Park ” which will take place on Wednesday February 15 at 7.30pm

The park was the hunting grounds of kings and queens and narrowly escaped becoming a Victorian housing estate
