Sutton Neighbourhood Watch has a vacancy for a Ward Co-ordinator for Sutton South.

NHW is well supported in the borough and would like to hear from anyone interested in the role. It is essential to fill this important position for Neighbourhood Watch in the ward to prosper.

With over 5,800 enrolled members in Sutton, Sutton NHW is clearly the largest association in London and pivotal to this success are the Ward Co-ordinators.

Primarily Ward Co-ordinators keep in touch with their members and liaise with their Police Safer Neighbourhoods Team, passing on information and advice to ensure that issues of concern to their members are dealt with as promptly as possible.

As full committee members of the Association, Ward Co-ordinators play a central role in directing the Association and represents the Association and their members on the Metropolitan Police’s Ward Panels.

It’s important to bear in mind that Ward Co-ordinators are well supported in performing the role and it should not take up very much of their time or be difficult or demanding.

If you are interested in taking on this role or know of someone who may be, please contact Colin Pye at Colin@SuttonNeighbourhoodWatch.co.uk.
