To close Sutton Theatre’s season of Edinburgh comedy previews put on by Laughing Coyote, writer, director, creator of Radio 4’s ‘Dilemma’ – Danielle Ward as well as returning club favourite – Danny Buckler.

Resident comedy club Laughing Coyote have been organising some of the most creative acts heading to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year to Carshalton for exclusive preview shows.

Being a teenager in the 90s was hard enough (Is your favourite band Blur or Oasis or Throbbing Gristle?) but now there’s a whole new set of things to worry about. What is the correct amount of pubic hair? Can feminists enjoy twerking? Why is fruit suddenly bad for you? Let the host of hit podcast Do The Right Thing guide you through this difficult time with stand-up, songs and one sexually explicit mime. You might recognise Danielle’s face from Mock The Week, NBC’s Last Comic Standing and Charlie Brooker’s Screenwipe, or her voice from The News Quiz, Dilemma and Dave Gorman’s Show on Absolute Radio.

“Ward really shines… an adept musician as well as a talented comic” Three Weeks****

“Graphic and funny… Ward’s language pulls no punches, her humour skips between light and dark with skill, and she’s an accomplished performer of music and comedy.” Fest****

DANNY BUCKLER is a Showman Shaman in this innovative hour combining stand-up comedy with the halcyon days of variety.

Buckler returns with an action-packed hour combining critically acclaimed stand-up, incredible sleight of hand and his love for all things showbiz! Expect big laughs, spontaneity, obscure impressions and, if we’re unlucky, occasional musical interludes (but don’t encourage him)!
