Stunning volley gives Sutton Common Rovers share of the points

A stunning Owen Davies volley gave Sutton Common Rover first team a share of the points in a tough encounter with Horley Town, writes Gary Brigden.

Davies struck in the 8th minute, latching onto a Sam Blowers flick from a corner.

Horley levelled just after the half hour when Tate Greenaway bundled the ball home from close range after SCR had failed to deal with a long throw.

Young debutant keeper Ollie Ellaway pulled off a tremendous save away to his left in the second half, and Danny Fernandez saw a late header hooked off the line by Horley skipper Adam Pullin
