Police looking to trace man wanted on recall to prison

Police in Sutton are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a man who is wanted on recall to prison.

Scott Matthews, 39, (20.09.1976) is believed to be in hiding on the Roundshaw estate in Wallington where he was last known to be residing.

He was originally sentenced to 20 weeks imprisonment and issued with a restraining order on Monday, 27 June 2016 after being convicted of assault in April 2016.

He was released on licence on Friday, 22 July 2016 and is now wanted on recall to prison having failed to comply with his conditions of release.

Matthews is described as white male, 5ft 11in tall and of medium build. He has short brown hair and blue eyes.

He has a number of tattoos including Chelsea FC written on left side of his neck.
