Question Time for London Mayor after 100 days in office

After more than 100 days in office, the London Assembly holds its first Mayor’s Question Time since summer tomorrow. (September 13

Assembly Members will ask Mayor of London Sadiq Khan questions about‎ the following topics and more:

  • The cycling budget in Transport for London’s next business plan
  • Keeping Londoners safe from the threat of terrorism
  • Burkinis
  • Deputy Assistant Police Commissioner resignation
  • Cleaner, greener taxis ahead of the introduction of the Ultra Low Emission Zone

The Assembly questions the Mayor, in public, ten times a year at Mayor’s Question Time (MQT) meetings, as part of its role of holding him to account[.

The Assembly acts as a check and balance on the activities of the Mayor.
