sutton-natureThere is a fantastic range of events which will allow residents to support and learn more about nature in December.

Friends of Sutton Ecology Centre Christmas Fair. Saturday 3 December, 1pm – 5pm. Sutton Ecology Centre. In conjunction with Carshalton Frost Fair. The Friends of Sutton Ecology Centre will be holding their annual Christmas Fair, with hand-crafted gifts, hot drinks and a collection of delicious homemade soups & cakes. Suitable for everyone.
Winter Wonderland Trail. Saturday 3 December 1pm-4pm. Explore the delights of the award winning Ecology Centre with their Winter Wonderland Trail. Suitable for families Cost: £4 per child ages 3yrs+ includes small gift per child. No booking required, just pop along.
Woodland Storytelling. Saturday 3rd December 2pm & 3pm
Come and hear the entrancing tales of Molly Whuppie and others, in our special storytelling tent, with fairylights, music and shadow puppets
Performance is approx 20 minutes. Ticket price includes entrance to the Sutton Ecology Centre Winter Wonderland Trail. Cost £7, advance booking essential. 20 children per session. Suitable for children 3yrs plus – pay for children only. To book online visit
Winter Wreath Making. Saturday 10 December 10am-12noon & 1pm-3pm. Come and enjoy a relaxing time collecting materials to make your own all-natural winter wreath to take home. Your door will be the talk of the town! Includes a mince pie and hot drink. Suitable for: adults only 16yrs+ Cost: £15 per adult. Booking essential. Forest School Family Fun – Christmas Special. Saturday 10th December 2016, 10.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-3.30pm. Join us for a Christmas special Forest School session where we will be using natural woodland materials to make some beautiful decorations to take home. Suitable for: Ages 2-10 years.
