apprenticeship-hub-sutton-surrey1Sutton is home to over 6,600 businesses and 4 in 10 residents of working age are educated to a higher level, putting the borough ahead of the national average. Apprenticeships can play an important part in the local economy, by improving skills and driving productivity. However, only a small number of young people in the borough choose an apprenticeship as a career option.

Sutton Council believe there is a need for more and better information about apprenticeships and local businesses need more support and brokering to find young people.

The Sutton Apprenticeship Hub is designed and managed by apprentices, to help match the supply and demand of apprenticeship opportunities in the London Borough of Sutton.

The hub is a  resource for young people and their parents, educators and businesses, to educate them about the benefits of starting, or offering an apprenticeship and the career prospects involved.
