A new inpopupmarketitiative to enable entrepreneurs to get a foot on the business ladder is taking place in Sutton.

Over the course of an 18-month programme there is a series of workshops and one-to-one advice sessions designed to guide entrepreneurs through the process of setting up and running a business.

The scheme has been developed by Opportunity Sutton as part of its remit to stimulate and support new business in the borough.

The fully funded programme is being delivered by Successful Sutton and  provides business support and guidance through a structured series of workshops. All aspects of business development will be covered from financial planning, marketing and branding, customer service and health and safety through to visual merchandising and social media.

Once a month a free pop-up stall will also be provided to give entrepreneurs a platform to showcase their products or services to a ready made audience.

At the end of the programme the aim is that the businesses have a sustainable model for future growth.
