sv-icon-copy-1If your project inspires people to do the right thing with their waste, if you plan to make use of recycled or reused materials, or if it will help protect the local environment, Veolia’s Recycling Fund for Communities want to hear from you.

Your project could receive a cash boost of up to £1000, as well as access to materials, equipment and even people to help get it off the ground.

“We want to support the small, grass roots projects that get communities involved and make a real difference. We can give up to £1000 for any individual project and we have up £50,000 available across London and Watford between now and the end of 2017,” said a spokesperson

“While we will give priority to the boroughs where we provide waste and recycling services for residents (see below), we are always open to consider innovative projects that will get results, wherever they may be.

“When you apply to our fund, let us know if you think staff volunteers or resources such as waste or scrap materials, soil improver, composters or tools and equipment would be useful as we may be able to provide these in addition to cash funds.”
