At the last Sutton Healthwatch meeting the issue of car parking permits for carers of those with dementia was raised. The following response was given from parking services:

“Sutton Council do not determine the issuing of a Blue Badge, rather applications are made to central government based on set criteria associated with someone’s mobility.

Sutton offer carers permits that allow holders to park in CPZ p&d or permit bays when making visits,  both for individuals (which sounds like would meet the needs of your audience) and for organisations.”
