“The Roughs Of The Wrythe” is a play written by local playwright Ann Pattison and directed by ex-Arts Network Sutton Vice Chair Dick Bower.

There were two performances on Saturday July 15th at Carshalton High School For Girls. It’s the story of what World War 1 did to a small community and why the lads known as the “Roughs” became the heroes of the Wrythe. Featuring 18 local amateur performers, some of who were related to the characters in the play, the two performances were sell outs and the whole event was a great success
