On the back of the success of launching Walking Football at the centre for over 60’s, and due to quite high demand from existing members, we’re delighted to confirm the launch of Walking Netball on Tuesday 13th March – 9:30 – 10:30am.

Open to players of all abilities, both men and women, this session will work through basic skills, strength, agility and match-play with lots of fun injected for good measure. It’s proven that taking part in exercise, even if just once a week, can greatly improve memory, stability, life expectancy and general wellbeing, helping to avoid a long list of age-related illnesses.

Our England Netball coach will take players through the essentials needed to play a game with reminder for those who are slightly rusty. The session is free to existing CLUB members but non-members can join in at a drop-in rate of £4.10.

We hope to see as many faces there as possible! For more information please email Katie Nixon – Katie.nixon@GLL.org
