Nicola Upton joined Age UK Sutton as new Chief Executive last week.

Nicola has most recently been a freelance consultant working with small charities, and previously held senior roles in several national and regional charities.

Nicola says: ‘I feel really lucky to join a charity which provides such excellent advice, advocacy and services. I look forward to continuing this success, developing our reach to the most vulnerable, creating innovative services to meet local need, and collaborating with partners to amplify the difference we can all make. I am passionate about listening to service users, using what we learn to support our plans and shape our services’.

Nicola has been working with Marion Harper, outgoing CEO, to ensure a smooth transition.

Marion retires at the end of April after 17 years of valued service.
