Artworks will be available to help support Mayor’s charities

David Francis Hunt (1955-2014) suffered from mental health issues and learning disabilities. This was ameliorated to a large extent by the several hours he spent every day doing art work. He was given a home for many years  by the philanthropist, the late Richard James. He continued to live in Richard’s house in Crossway for several years after Richard died, supported by the James Trust. (now a grant-making Trust: www.thejamestrust.co.uk)

Some of David’s prolific work will be displayed in the Europa Gallery as part of the Art as Therapy exhibition from 3rd-15th October.

All of David’s work will be available in return for a small donation to the Mayor’s charities – The Alzheimer’s Society and Sutton Shopmobility. If  you wish to acquire one or more of these works please email  [email protected]
