“Bread angel” Gaye is awarded gold medal at World Bread Awards

Wallington “bread angel” Gaye Fisher who works from home has been awarded a Gold Award and was declared runner up in the Speciality Sweet Bread Category for my Golden Raisin & Ginger Sweetbread in the finals of the World Bread Awards, which took place recently

Gay is a micro baker who bakes and sells to the local community as well as the Sutton Community Farm.

She also teaches bread making and is a member of the Real Bread Campaign.

Bread Angels work from home when and how they like. They make good bread available in their local communities in a variety of ways that work for them including baking and selling bread to individuals, shops, schools, churches, markets, etc. in their local communities. Many Bread Angels also volunteer and teach baking courses.
