Community-Safety-day-for-Older-People-Poster-A4--Sutton-Housing-Partnership470x664More than 30 organisations in Sutton are coming together today (Wednesday) for the borough’s third annual Community Safety Day for Older People.

The Community Safety Day is being organised by the Safer Sutton Partnership Service and is supported by the Met Police, Sutton Council, Sutton Neighbourhood Watch, and the Borough’s Libraries, Heritage & Arts Services.

The purpose is to raise awareness about the range of services available to elderly and vulnerable residents in the boroughto help keep them safe.Sutton Housing Partnership will have a stall at the event with staff available to discuss any queries you may have – including the changes to housing for older people.

The free Community Safety Day is being held at the Europa Gallery, Sutton Central Library, on Wednesday, 8 March from 10:30am to 2:30pm.
