Home CCTV footage released after Worcester Park burglary

Detectives from Sutton investigating a burglary at a residential address have issued CCTV footage of two men they wish to identify and speak to in connection with the incident.

On Sunday, 3 July, police were called at around 06:10hrs to a report of a burglary at an address in St.Clair Drive in Worcester Park, Surrey.

The burglary was reported to have occurred at some point between 23:37hrs on Saturday, 2 July and 00:01hrs on Sunday, 3 July. Jewellery, cash and a mobile CCTV recording system was taken.

CCTV footage from within the house was activated at 23:37hrs on Saturday, 2 July and sent a signal to the owner informing him of the break in.

The footage recorded two suspects walk around the home and take property. The two suspects later took the mobile CCTV, unaware the device had recorded them, alerted the owner and sent the footage into a secure cloud.

The suspects captured by the CCTV being released by officers are described as:

‘Suspect 1’ [ref: 217923] is described as a medium built white man, aged in his 20s with short dark hair and a goatee beard. He was wearing a hooded zip top, dark trousers, trainers and gloves.

‘Suspect 2’ [ref: 217924] is described as a slim built white man, aged in his 20s with a thin beard. He was wearing a light coloured top with a dark collar, dark trousers, dark trainers and dark gloves.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the men shown in the footage.
