Do you love your local library? Are you interested in history and heritage? Would you like to support your community and learn new skills along the way?

Then why not consider taking part in its volunteer programme with an aim of enhancing the customer’s experience of using the Borough’s Libraries and Heritage venues.

The volunteer programme offers comprehensive training and a chance to develop existing skills further and meet new people.

Roles vary from Assisting at a homework club, gardening and tour guiding to assisting people gaint ITC skills. Even if you only have a couple of hours spare per week the service would love to hear from you.
