Mayor of London sets out ambition for healthier city

The Mayor’s of London’s draft London Health Inequalities Strategy – Better Health for all Londoners for consultation has been released. The consultation period will run from 23 August until 30 November 2017.

Despite having made a great deal of progress in recent years, health inequalities in London remain high. This reduces productivity and impacts on people’s quality of life.  Healthy life expectancy varies both between and within boroughs. The strategy sets out the Mayor’s ambitions and proposals that will help create a healthier and fairer city.

They want to work with Londoners themselves as well as the public and private sectors to help us achieve these ambitions and would welcome your feedback to finalise this strategy. Not just wanting to know what you think, but how you can help, what you are already doing, and what the Mayor could do to help you do even more.
