Tom Brake, MP for Carshalton and Wallington, will host a public meeting following the announcement that the Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust, which runs St Helier Hospital, will run an involvement programme on the future of health services in the area with local residents until 30th September.
The public meeting will be on Thursday 31st August from 7pm at Strawberry Lodge, Mill Lane, in Carshalton, SM5 2NQ.
Tom Brake said:
“We have a great local hospital with hard-working staff who deliver good care, but they’re let down by outdated, poor quality buildings.
“This initial consultation is just the start and no decision has been made – that’s why it’s really important that residents get involved and let the Trust know what they think.
“I am pleased that a representative from the Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust and Ruth Dombey, Leader of Sutton Council have both agreed to attend.’’
