SHP also received Highly Commended recognition in the ‘Best Business for Innovation and Growth’. This is reflected in a recent residents’ satisfaction survey, where for the last year 90% of residents said they were satisfied with the overall service provided by SHP.

The evening organised by Successful Sutton, Opportunity Sutton and Sutton Chamber of Commerce, reward and celebrate commercial excellence, innovation and entrepreneurial flair within the borough.

The awards were supported by Sutton Council and headline sponsor CNM Estates. A number of businesses in the borough including Metro Bank, Everyone Active, Riva Sutton and Mears also supported the ceremony, with donations raised on the night in support of Sutton Mencap.

Steve Tucker, CEO of Sutton Housing Partnership, said:

“This local accolade demonstrates SHP’s commitment that learning and development for all employees is essential and highly valued. I’m proud to lead an organisation that is dedicated to continuously invest in staff, as a motivated and skilled workforce ensures that we provide the best possible services to our residents in the borough. To receive Highly Commended praise in the ‘Best Business for Innovation and Growth’ recognises our ethos of continuous improvement with tenants and leaseholders seeing performance improve year on year.”
