New workshops designed to build confidence in writing and performing poetry and stories
Roger Mills
On bi-monthly second Sundays in the month, Rachel Sambrooks will be bringing you a series of six workshops, designed to build confidence in writing and performing poetry and stories.
A seasoned performer (and ex-shy person), Rachel uses comedy and poetry in all settings and to very different audiences. Find out how to read a room, gain your feet and perform your poem or story. Each workshop will culminate in a closed group practice of performance.
£100 for six or £20 per workshop, min 5 max 10 participants. Book tickets by clicking on the link. Participants will still be able to perform at Words Aloud events and develop group or pair work if desired. Work/live in Sutton? Need some lunchtime inspiration?
Lunchtime creative writing ins, run by Rachel Sambrooks, free as part of her Writer in Residence at Sutton Libraries. A very relaxed hour of creative writing with easy prompts and exercises in a friendly setting. Mondays beginning June 3rd (term time only).
