Carshalton Athletic has announced the winners of its annual seasonal awards ceremony.

The fans and club staff voted for their favourites, while the first-team management and players also picked out their own ‘player of the season’ recipients.

The awards were shared around the squad this year which no doubt shows the talent we have at our disposal, writes James Barrett

Supporters’ Player of the Season

Most Improved Player
Winner: Paris Hamilton-Downes
2nd: Ricky Korboa
3rd: Jordan Higgs

Best Newcomer
Winner: Peter Adeniyi
2nd: Luke Colquhoun
3rd: Ryan Healy

Goal of the Season
Winner: Ryan Healy (vs Walton Casuals)
2nd: Jordan Higgs (2nd vs Ramsgate)
3rd: Ricardo Panton (vs Whyteleafe)

Players’ Player of the Season
Winner: Tommy Bradford

Manager’s Player of the Season
Winner: Jordan Higgs

Vice Presidents Player of the Season
Winner: Jordan Higgs

There were also special commendations for club captain Tony Sinclair and retiring physio Warren Filmer.

“We have a great team of lads who play football the right way – the whole team deserve praise for some very special performances,” said club chairman Paul Dipre.
