Scams cost the UK £5-10 billion every year, Friends Against Scams aims to tackle scams by raising awareness. Scams can take many forms such as postal, telephone, doorstep and email. Once someone responds to a scam, their details are sold onto other criminals and a cycle of victimisation starts. Would you notice if your relative fell victim to a scam?
