Tom Brake MP and five members of Team Brake took on and demolished the Tough Mudder last month to raise money for Sutton Mental Health Foundation.
After tackling 13 obstacles over the course of 5 miles, in a test of teamwork and endurance, Tom Brake and the rest of Team Brake crossed the finish line together.
Thanks in part to the Tough Mudder, Team Brake has raised nearly half of its £5,000 fundraising goal for Sutton Mental Health Foundation.

“Obstacles come in many forms. Physical obstacles, such as those in the Tough Mudder are easy to see, but often the mental and emotional obstacles that we face present a greater challenge.
“When we battle with mental illness, many times we struggle silently as the obstacles we face might not be evident to those around us. We can’t stop the stigma sometimes associated with mental illness by remaining quiet, so I encourage everyone to speak out and seek help, because everyone’s struggles are valid and deserve recognition.”
