Sixth draw for robins puts them in striking distance

football-4Carshalton Athletic left Walton Road with a point on Tuesday night as their sixth away game on the spin finished 1-1, writes James Barrett.

The result was an improvement on the defeat suffered at Cray Wanderers on Saturday, with Ricky Korboa’s 15th goal of the season giving us a half-time lead.

Moles midfielder Tom Windsor levelled things up in the 50th minute however and that’s how the game ended, although it does mean we’ve remained unbeaten against Molesey in three meetings this season to date (W2 D1).

That point leaves us seventh in the Ryman South standings, just one point outside the play-off positions and eight off the top.

Next up: We have a home game as Ramsgate arrive at Colston Avenue on Saturday 22nd October, then we head off to Cray Wanderers for our FA Trophy replay on Wednesday 26th October.
