Stanley Park students design eco friendly water feature

Our year-long project where Stanley Park students designed an innovative eco-friendly water feature has reached its exciting culmination.

The team designed and drew protypes, calculating how the water feature would generate enough power through momentum without being excessive.

The students had to calculate the volume and force of water source attached to the water feature. After many drawings and protypes, they eventually created a model that was fit for purpose. Built around a rust-free alloy with aquatic designs, they used a children bicycle.

The water feature does not need electricity and combines concepts of fitness and ecology ergonomically. It presented it to Fetcham Village Infant School who received it gratefully.
