STEM learning bringing back the Big Bang to the borough

In partnership with STEM Learning, Engineering UK, Sutton Grammar School and the Institute of Cancer Research, the Council is supporting Successful Sutton to bring the Big Bang London back to Sutton for 2019.

Last year saw an additional 5000 visitors in and around the high street. This year, there will be more exhibitors, activities, events and shows to immerse residents in the wonderful world of all things science, technology, engineering and maths. Including practical activities and a new focus on careers.

The festival week starts on 8 July with a number of STEM-focussed, free activities for families to get involved in around Sutton.

On Friday 12 July, Sutton Grammar plays host to the Big Bang London South and then on Saturday 13 July the Big Bang will make its way onto Sutton High Street for the Big Bang Sutton Family Day.

Further information will be posted over the coming weeks and months to reveal details of the events, exhibitors and activities.

Please visit the official website to see how great this event was last year and to register to receive regular updates.

Please like and share with family, friends, partners, stakeholders and residents.
