Email PROOF_B826_GDA 2017_A4 Poster_david jenny sp-page-001The Charity, Marie Curie is looking for a volunteer in the Sutton and Cheam area to look after Daffodil boxes, placed in local shops and businesses.

The new volunteer will place boxes of daffodil pins in shops to raise funds for the charity’s annual Great Daffodil Appeal which runs throughout the month of March.  These boxes will need to be collected, counted and banked at the beginning of April.

All money raised will help Marie Curie provide expert care, guidance and support, so people with a terminal illness and their families in the local area, can get the most from the time they have left.

This is a flexible role, which involves some paperwork but can fit around your usual activities.  Full training will be given.

Marie Curie Nurses work night and day, in people’s homes across London, providing hands-on support. Marie Curie also supports people throughout their illness, by giving practical information, and being there when someone wants to talk. The charity is also the leader in research into better ways of caring for people with terminal illness. Every £20 raised provides an hour of vital nursing care.
